Our wonderful Mama, Mary Pike Wise "Mimi", 80, passed away peacefully in her sleep on May 19, 2026. Mary was born in Cruger, MS, and grew up on her parents', Henry and Florence Pike's, farm with her sisters Floy and Patricia. She embodied all the characteristics of a young woman raised on a farm. She was down-to-earth, hard-working, tough, and resilient, but most of all, she had a deep and steadfast love for her family, her daughter Lisa Yannett (Ed) and son, Chris Brantley (Lauren), as well as her grandchildren, Mary Grace (Daniel), Jackson, William, Ed Beck, Charlie, and great-grandson James.

Mary was married to her children's father, Samuel Brantley, before marrying John Wise, her husband of the last 23 years.

Everything Mary valued and cherished was in her family, her friends, and her faith. She also loved Good Shepherd Savannah, Isle of Hope, the beach, and sweets.

A beautiful woman inside and out, Mary will always be remembered for her generous, loving heart and faithfulness to her children, grandchildren, parents, sisters, friends, and Jesus.

Mama(Mimi)rest in peace. We love you with all our hearts and are so grateful you were, and will be, an abiding presence in our lives.

A Memorial Service honoring Mary will take place Friday, May 29 at 11 a.m. at at Good Shepherd Savannah which is located at Isle of Hope Baptist Church at 22 Rose Avenue, Savannah, GA, with a reception to follow in the social hall.
